As a candidate for City Council in 2005, four issues were particularly important to me:

		1. Lower the Sylvania Income Tax
		2. Efficient Long-term Government Planning
		3. Effective Collaboration between the City and Township
		4. Community Communication and Open Government

Additionally, at the beginning of my term I submitted the following as goals and objectives I felt particularly passionate about:

City Council as a Whole:
1. Water Contract
2. Vision, Strategy and Goals for the City
3. Community Communication and Education
4. Resolution to the Merger
5. Municipal Tax Reform

Buildings and Grounds Committee, Chairman
1. Inventory of all Buildings and Grounds
2. Tour all city buildings

Personal & Development:
1. Meet with all City Administration Directors
2. Attend Municipal Government educational seminar
